1419 – First defenestration of Prague: anti-Catholic Hussites, followers of executed reformer Jan Hus, storm the Prague town hall and throw the judge, mayor and several city council members (either 7 or 13) out the windows. They all either died in the fall or were killed by the crowd outside. Hmmmm…
1715 – A Spanish gold & silver fleet disappears off St Lucie, Florida
1733 – The Society of Freemasons opens its 1st American lodge in Boston, Massachusetts
1839 – Slave rebels, take over the slavery ship Amistad
