There once was a guy..

At this time in his meager life he wondered exactly where he was. This young kid thought of

only things of a Grand scale and why he is being denied of his birthright. After all this spirit had picked this young couple to experience his soul once again in the physical world

in the hopes of expanding his spirit more.

My wordPress site has been sitting idle for Toolong.

I have let her slip away but recently she has returned into my thoughts and I realize I have neglected and kicked her to the curb. I do hope you can forgive me TooLong. We had a great run each morning for so many years didn’t we.

I just want you to know my dear that I am back on town for awhile and would enjoy to share some experiences I’ve had since our paths have changed ways. I’m putting in a few photos of my recent travels here for you that I hope you will enjoy.

I expect to start writing on this platform again with some new creative ideas. Although, some of the thoughts I will be writing about will not be accepted with an open mind by many of our sisters and brothers , it is my intention to toss some pebbles in the pond and watch the ripples expand..

Mobile Website Design tips..

In this blog post I will give you some tips on designing your mobile and responsive

website before you contact me to get your business ranked on Google as Mobile friendly.

There are different features you will want to consider pertaining to the type of business

you have and what kind of interactions with your customers you want to create and grow.

Before I begin take note that most of this information comes from Google itself.

1.) Make it easy for customers.

Help your site’s visitors to complete their objectives. They may want to be entertained by your blog posts, get your restaurant’s address, or check reviews on your products. Walgreens GVP and Chief Technology Officer of eCommerce, Abhi Dhar, explains, “Our goal with everything we do on mobile is to make our customers’ lives easier.”

Design your site to help make it easier for your customer to complete their most common tasks: from task conception, to visiting your site, to task completion. Outline the potential steps in your customer’s’ journey to make sure the steps are easy to complete on a mobile device. Try to streamline the experience and reduce the number of user interactions.

2. Measure the effectiveness of your website by how easily mobile customers can complete common tasks.

Making a mobile site requires prioritization. Start by working out what the most important and common tasks are for your customers on mobile. Being able to support these tasks is critical and this is why the measure of your mobile site is how well customers can complete their objectives. There are ways to make the design of your site support ease of use too. Focus on consistency in your interface and providing an unified experience across platforms.

“Mobile shoppers put ease of use foremost when it comes to mobile shopping sites, with 48% of respondents citing it as the most important quality of a mobile site they visit,” cites MediaPost.

3. Select a mobile template, theme, or design that’s consistent for all devices (i.e., use responsive web design).

Responsive web design” or RWD means that the page uses the same URL and the same code whether the user is on a desktop computer, tablet, or mobile phone – only the display adjusts or “responds” according to the screen size. Google recommends using RWD over other design patterns. One of the benefits of RWD is that you’ll only need to maintain one version of your site instead of two (i.e., you won’t need to maintain the desktop site at http://www.example.com and the mobile version at m.example.com – you’ll maintain only one site, such as http://www.example.com, for desktop and mobile visitors). A responsive site adjusts the display to various screen sizes while using the same URL and code. “Conversions” happen when a customer performs a desired action, such as buying products, calling the business, or signing-up for a newsletter.

Remember that good mobile sites are useful – they help visitors complete their tasks, whether that’s reading an interesting article or checking your store’s location. Don’t get caught in the trap of only creating a mobile-formatted site (one that looks pretty on mobile) because it stripped away all useful functionality.

Have you actually seen your website from a smartphone lately?

Consumers today are using their mobile devices more than ever to find YOUR Business, research your business and connect with your business. Did you know that half of all Internet searches today for local services and products are taking place on mobile smart phones and devices?

If you think about it, you have lots of traffic coming to your business on mobile devices and quite frankly the experience on your current website is not quite enjoyable. Internet users report that 95% of the time they will leave the website on their mobile phone if it’s not mobile optimized, which means a major loss in revenue for your business.

Most websites, including yours, were built to look outstanding on a computer or laptop, but once viewed on a mobile phone whose screen is much smaller the experience isn’t pleasant to say the least. Mobile consumers are less likely to engage and frankly have a bad experience when they land on your site and it’s not mobile.

Have you honestly tried to view your phone on an iPhone, android or blackberry device lately? Can you easily find your phone number and address? Can you easily click to call your business? Can you easily navigate around your website and quickly find what you need?

If the answer is no to any of these questions chances are you are losing business to your competitors who are mobile ready.

Over 40% of all Internet searches are being performed from mobile devices. This means in total you can be losing 40% of potential business just for the sole reason of you not being mobile ready.

If you’re available,  I would love to set up a meeting with you and go over the possibilities of  what our service can do for your business. .

Thanks,

John

Competitors are swiping your business..,Literally!

Good morning,

In order to do business in today’s economy a business must stay in front of

its clients and its potential next clients’s face, literally, agreed? Before the

advent of computers and smartphones this was done with television adverts

and huge billboards plastered across America’s highways and bi ways. Of

course this is still being done but with 450 million people owning an iPhone

or Android phone, that Is where their faces are 70% of the day.

A business that invests its marketing dollars in a state of the art website with all

the bells, whistles, drop down boxes, videos, and what have you is great don’t get

me right but when 73% of online research comes from a smartphone  and 50% of

a person’s purchases are made from that smartphone, the bells and whistles

Must be going off in your head as well agreed? A beautifully designed website is

a great way to get your products in front of a market and it is imperative for any

legitimate, well established company to have one if not three different sites on

all major media platforms to get their products and services known, and bought,

by folks surfing the web AT HOME!!

But people are on the go, people, have there faces in their phone bedazzled by

fact that anything they desire is in the palm of their hands and frankly, if you

are not in the palm of their hand, with a flick of a thumb, you are not going to

be seen by someone searching for just the right business to satisfy their

immediate needs. That is why it is imperative for your business to be there for

them. Agreed?

If You are satisfied with your client base and have all the clients you need, you

have no obligation to read this article any further. However, if you have the

wherewithall to know another business is in the palm of your client’s hand

then read on..

I have had the privilege to begin working with a company that can put a

company’s website or someone’s personal online store in front of the millions

of smartphone users that will cover all the needs of a business or personal store.

Each business has different needs such as menus for restaurants, click to call,

online scheduling for doctors lawyers, locations, anylitics and seo to see where

to focus marketing, maps, business hours and giving a business full control of

what exactly goes on its site such as videos, images, font, text, and so much

more. As a consultant I sit down with you face to face or on conference call

with my colleagues and hash out what is it you will like to offer your clients.

When you’re available I will be happy to sit down with you and go over the

possibilities of what our company can do for you to get your business in the

hands of millions of smartphone users.

Sincerely

John F. Sapp
